On April 14, 2019, at 5pm, after playing "Hotel California" by the Eagles, KXOK rebranded as "Kool 100.3." With this change KXOK stopped playing most music from the 1970s while adding many songs from the 1990s. The first song on "Kool" was "Together Forever" by Rick Astley. The station's callsign was changed to KQQL.
